The Filipino Community of Ventura County, Inc. hosts an annual one-day, two-part event called Salute to the Graduates (Salutes) for Filipino high school graduates in Ventura County at Oxnard, California. Program participants get to learn more about the Filipino culture and gain assistance transitioning from high school to college. Salutes is an event where participants get together and celebrate all of the achievements of each graduate and acknowledge each individuals' hard work. Each annual event includes a baccalaureate mass at Mary Star of the Sea Catholic Church in Oxnard, CA, and the cultural program, curated by the high school scholars themselves. Join FCVCI at our 44th annual Salute to the Graduates online on YouTube and Facebook on June 26th, 2022.
